Job summary

Bayview Physicians Group is seeking an experienced Primary Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its Hampton Roads, VA outpatient clinics. You will work under physician and office leadership to deliver high-quality nursing care in a welcoming, patient-first environment.

The role emphasizes accurate vitals collection, EHR documentation, medication administration, and collaborative patient care in a daytime, outpatient setting with travel to satellite locations if needed. Competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active LPN license in Virginia.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles and clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient‑first mindset.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to travel to satellite locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming experience for every patient
• Provide high-quality nursing care under the direction of physicians and office leadership
• Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, and maintain accurate EHR records
• Administer medications and injections safely and accurately, ensuring complete documentation (medication, dosage, route, lot number, and patient response)
• Update patient information at each visit, including medications, allergies, and medical/family history
• Answer patient phone calls, assist with questions, and route messages to providers efficiently
• Support smooth clinic operations while maintaining professionalism and compassion
