Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver compassionate medical care across ages with acute and chronic conditions. You will diagnose, treat, educate, and work with a multidisciplinary team to uphold high standards of care and service.

Full-time staff work rotating 36-40 hour weeks including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend; PRN options available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Current state APRN or PA license
• Board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain upon hire
• Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care to all ages for acute and chronic conditions
• Diagnose, treat, and educate patients while collaborating with healthcare professionals
• Perform medical assessments and procedures as required, including minor procedures
• Establish and monitor appropriate levels of care for clinic patients
• Support on-site labs, imaging, injections, and specimen collection as applicable
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies
• Participate in continuing education and staff education programs
