Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care in Cullman, AL is seeking a caring Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality medical care for patients of all ages in a busy urgent care setting.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, current FNP/PA-C certification, an active APRN/PA license, and DEA/DOT/BLS credentials where applicable. Full-time schedule with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Active state APRN or Physician Assistant license.
• Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Board Certification.
• Current DEA license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire.
• Current DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Perform medical assessment, treatment, and follow-up for acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff to ensure quality care.
• Oversee on-site labs and imaging as applicable.
• Maintain licensure and participate in continuing education.
