Job summary

KidsStreet Urgent Care in Augusta, GA is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to lead a team in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will provide care for babies to geriatrics, utilizing full scope of practice with substantial pediatric involvement and telemedicine support.

This role welcomes new graduates and includes extensive onboarding with hosted HQ orientation, ongoing training, and a strong support network to help grow your clinical decision-making and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• FNP Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher degree; new grads welcome.
• DOT certification or willingness; certification costs covered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; EMR and MS Office familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients within your scope of practice in urgent care.
• Perform minor procedures and wound care ( toenail removal, foreign objects, etc.).
• Suturing and splinting as needed.
• General Orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Over-read of X-rays by Radiologist; assist in image review.
• Provide dermatology and eye care within scope.
• Interpret EKGs and manage emergencies.
• General GYN care; pediatric and adult patients.
• Occupational medicine and telemedicine responsibilities.
