Job summary
Baptist Health Urgent Care in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a caring Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will diagnose, treat, and educate patients, working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure excellent service.
The role involves a rotating 36–40 hour per week schedule (12-hour shifts), with PRN options and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Active state APRN license in good standing.
- Current FNP board certification.
- Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain upon hire.
- Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary patient care to patients of all ages for acute and chronic conditions.
- Diagnose, treat, and educate patients while coordinating with healthcare team.
- Lead and support on-site laboratory, x‑rays, injections and specimen collection as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with medical policies, licensing and accrediting bodies.
- Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.
