Rivers Veterinary Urgent Care in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join a fast-paced urgent care team. You will apply your emergency and diagnostic skills in a high acuity environment while delivering compassionate care to pets and guidance to owners.

Expect four 10-hour shifts per week with Saturday availability. The Rivers team offers collaboration, growth opportunities, and access to internal specialty consultations within the Mission Pet Health network.

Qualifications

• CVT certification and active state license in good standing
• Previous veterinary technician experience preferred
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong technical and patient-care skills
• Team player with compassionate approach
• Must be available to work Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, stabilization, monitoring, and critical care under veterinary supervision
• Communicate treatments clearly to pet owners and review discharge instructions
• Lead and support teammates to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain accurate records for patient handoffs and case management
