Job summary

Beacon Health System in Pennsylvania is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Urgent Care setting to support physicians with exam preparation, patient intake, and routine procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires CMA or RMA certification or completion of a approved Medical Assistant program and exam.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist in office; obtain information for patient records and payment data.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures; prepare exam rooms and equipment.
• Perform EKGs, collect specimens, and handle basic clinical tasks per protocol.
• Manage telephone triage, front desk duties and patient scheduling; enter data accurately.
