Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Urgent Care Vista location. The CMA will support providers in front and back-office duties and act as a liaison between patients and clinicians. The role may float to different sites within the system to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Requires working-level English proficiency (reading/writing/speaking).
• Experience in multi-physician office practice preferred.
• Current Nevada license for Office Laboratory Assistant or CMA or eligible to apply within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in back-office duties and rooming patients.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and document communications.
• Prepare lab specimens and manage referrals and authorizations.
• Track patient test results and coordinate follow-up care.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock; ensure compliance with policies.
