Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Toms River, NJ is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for Urgent Care and Physician Practice to provide coverage and support to clinical teams under the direction of the practice manager and physicians.

The role entails coordinating patient care, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with CLIA/OSHA and HIPAA, and acting as liaison between the practice and administration across Toms River and Forked River locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a physician office.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Good communicator, problem solver, flexible, organized, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical team with assisting the physician to coordinate patient care in the office, hospital, referrals to physicians, and ancillary facilities.
• Assists Practice Manager in serving as a liaison between the Practice Administrator, the providers, and the team members.
• Monitors team members, and self, to proactively initiate phone calls to ensure patients are provided with all necessary information and responds to calls as per office protocol and HIPAA guidelines.
• Accurately and promptly sets up examination rooms and ensures needed materials and equipment are supplied.
• Ensures that team members, and self, are performing clinical duties in a safe and efficient manner while providing excellent service.
