Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in Oregon is seeking an Advanced Practitioner (PA/NP) to deliver urgent care services across acute conditions. You will assess patients, perform examinations, order tests, diagnose, and prescribe medications.

The role emphasizes strong communication, patient education, and the ability to work 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts. Active licensure and relevant urgent care/ER experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for Physician Assistants
• Master’s Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
• Active state medical licensure and national certification are required

Responsibilities

• Examining and treating patients
• Taking patients’ medical histories
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
• Treating minor injuries with sutures, splints, or casting
• Recording progress notes for follow-up patients
• Educating and counseling patients
• Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients
• Giving vaccinations and referring patients to additional care
• Work shift lengths of four (4), eight (8) or twelve (12) hours as scheduled
• All other duties as assigned
