Job summary

FastMed, a leading urgent care provider in North Carolina, seeks an Urgent Care APP (NP/PA) for Millbrook/Raleigh to deliver high‑quality care in a fast‑paced setting.

This full‑time role offers flexible scheduling, a salary with bonus potential, generous PTO from day one, CME stipend, and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements include BLS, NC medical license, and graduation from an approved NP or PA program, with at least one year in emergency, family, or primary care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
• Minimum of one-year experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Primary Care Medicine.
• Outpatient clinic or urgent care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain an adequate history and performs an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem
• Order pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation
• Make appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered.
• Administers appropriate medication or treatment as necessary.
• Minor surgical procedures

Experience:

• Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant school.
