Job summary

UnityPoint Clinic in Dubuque, IA, is actively recruiting an Urgent Care Advanced Practitioner to join our team in a full-time capacity. The role supports a concierge model with 12-hour weekday shifts and 8-hour weekend shifts, in a no-appointment, open-access urgent care setting integrated with Epic EMR.

The ideal candidate is a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Board Certified, with an unrestricted Iowa license and eligibility to practice in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active board certification.
• Unrestricted medical license in Iowa.
• Authorized to prescribe medications as applicable to AP roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.
• Prescribe treatment and educate patients; arrange follow-up as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-based urgent care environment.
• Deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
