Job summary

This Advanced Practice Provider – Urgent Care role offers clinical autonomy, a flexible schedule, and a supportive team. The position emphasizes urgent and episodic care within a growing network.

Shifts are 12 hours with seven per 14-day period, and compensation ranges from $67 to $80 per hour, based on experience. Relocation or signing bonuses may be negotiable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current national certification applicable to the provider’s discipline.
• Active Texas professional license or the ability to obtain one.
• Active DEA registration or the ability to obtain one.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent and episodic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and treatments.
• Perform procedures (e.g., laceration repair, splinting).
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Maintain timely documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff.
• Deliver patient-centered care adhering to policies and standards.
