Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Council Bluffs is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care team. You will provide primary care, perform exams, diagnose and treat common illnesses, order tests, and collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.

Two years of clinical experience is preferred; licensure in the state, CSRC, and BLS are required (or obtained within 3 months).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA program and licensed in the state.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Current CSRC DEA registration and BLS certification preferred/required within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care with assessment and diagnosis.
• Perform physical exams and determine patient status.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and follow-up.
• Prescribe medications under physician oversight when appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and team; document care and outcomes.
