Job summary

American Family Care Upper Kirby is seeking a healthcare provider to deliver episodic treatment for acute illnesses and injuries in Houston, Texas. Candidates will examine patients, prescribe medications, and conduct minor procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in Urgent Care.
• 1+ years’ experience as a Single Provider.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certified preferred.
• DOT Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and document medical history.
• Prescribe treatment regimens and medications.
• Discuss side effects and update allergy information.
• Perform minor procedures as necessary.
• Provide lifestyle and diet advice.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Complete patient charts accurately.
