Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Washington state is seeking an Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider to join a dynamic team dedicated to quality, patient experience, and clinical excellence. Provide compassionate care, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include ARNP or PA degree, active WA license, DEA/NPI, BLS, and strong urgent care experience.

Qualifications

• ARNP or Physician Assistant Degree.
• Active Washington State License in good standing.
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).
• Strong clinical skills in urgent care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with families and teams.
• Provide education and connect patients with resources and services.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care.
• Stay current with urgent care best practices and research.
• Hours are 8:00 AM–8:00 PM Monday–Friday and 8:00 AM–5:00 PM on weekends.

Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well‑being of patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, licensed, and compassionate provider, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient‑centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Offer guidance and support to patients and families regarding educational resources and community services
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care
• Stay current with research and best practices in urgent care to provide evidence‑based care
• Hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM M‑F and 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on weekends

We are offering a guaranteed base salary, a wRVU quarterly payout with an annual bonus incentive, a starting bonus, and relocation assistance. Retirement plans include both 401(k) and 457(b).

Job Requirements

• ARNP or Physician Assistant Degree
• NP/PA Certification
• Active Washington State License in good standing with no restrictions
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certifications by the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills and experience diagnosing urgent care type issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high‑quality, compassionate care to all patients and families

Preferred

• 1 year experience following training

Pay Range

$122,540 – $162,967 per year
