Job summary

Safe Life Home Healthcare in DuPage County, IL, is seeking an Urdu-speaking caregiver to provide in-home support for elders. The role offers full-time, live-in and hourly positions with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities include personal care, hygiene, companionship, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation. A high school diploma is required; CNA preferred. Urdu proficiency is required; 1 year caregiving experience is expected. Overnight, night, or day shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience caregiving especially with elderly clients preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable; compassionate; dedicated to client well-being.
• Urdu language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and companionship; support daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment.
