Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. in Gap, PA, is seeking a Group Lead to provide leadership for warehouse associates, maintain SLAs, and act as a subject matter expert in the designated area. The role requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving, and effective communication.

Shift is Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with overtime as needed. You will oversee production quality, train employees, improve workflow, and collaborate with management to resolve operational issues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 to 2 years of equivalent job experience; team building and leadership skills
• Works well under pressure and time constraints, dependable and with a sense of urgency
• Excellent organizational and efficiency skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required
• Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards

Role Summary

They should have a basic understanding of Warehouse Operations and demonstrate problem-solving abilities. A successful Group Lead is flexible to accept new and diverse assignments. They possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk throughout a shift
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
• Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
• Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements
