Job summary

URBN seeks an energetic Procurement Inventory Coordinator to manage resources and coordinate duties to meet supply needs. You will work with leaders, develop procedures, and help prevent losses while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires basic math skills, RF equipment familiarity, and ability to work independently or in a team. Monday–Friday shift with early start times is typical.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred 2-3 years of related work experience.
  • Prior experience with equipment operation including forklift/high reach.
  • Dependable with strong organizational and efficiency skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in math and basic budget management.
  • Skilled in navigating computer programs and RF equipment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a Safe, Organized, Clean, and Secure environment.
  • Conduct Daily Inventory Counts.
  • Perform Monthly Full Inventory Counts.
  • Control flow of equipment and supplies.
  • Provide reports to management and advise on process improvements.
  • Develop loss mitigation processes and protocols.
  • Train less experienced inventory team members.
  • Compile inventory reports.
  • Collaborate with Purchaser to keep inventory within thresholds.
  • Receive and process all supply shipments.
  • Reconcile Bills of Lading.
  • Perform general inventory research.
  • Maintain attention to detail and sustain productivity.
  • Keep inventory locations clean and organized.
  • Monitor supply thresholds.
  • Handle additional duties assigned to Purchasing Specialist/Procurement Manager.

Role Summary

As a Procurement Inventory Coordinator, your role is pivotal in managing resources and coordinating activities to meet or exceed supply needs dictated by the business. Your unwavering professionalism, meticulous accuracy, and exceptional math and observational skills are crucial in this process. You can expect to work closely with leaders, develop and improve existing procedures and SOP, and play a key role in preventing losses.

As an inventory coordinator, you must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of basic computer programs, and an ability to work independently and in a team.

Schedule: RFC D581 (Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm)

Role Responsibilities
  • Maintain a Safe, Organized, Clean, and Secure environment.
  • Daily Inventory Counts
  • Monthly Full Inventory Counts
  • Controls flow of equipment and supplies.
  • Reports to management and advises on process improvements.
  • Develop loss mitigation processes and protocols.
  • Trains less experienced inventory team members.
  • Compiles inventory reports.
  • Partners with Purchaser to ensure inventory is within thresholds.
  • Receive and process all supply shipments.
  • BOL reconciliation.
  • General Inventory research.
  • Pays close attention to detail and sustains productivity.
  • Maintains clean and organized inventory locations.
  • Monitor supply thresholds.
  • All other duties assigned to the Purchasing Specialist/Procurement Manager.
Role Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred 2-3 years of related work experience.
  • Prior experience as an equipment operator, including forklift or high reach.

  • Proficient in math and basic budget management.
  • Skilled in navigating computer programs and using radio frequency equipment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Maintain acceptable attendanceand must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk throughout a shift
  • Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
  • Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements.

Pay Range

Starting from USD $20.25/Hr.
