Location:

This position is located at 11681 State Ave, Kansas City, Kansas, 66111, United States.

Role Summary:
An Equipment Operator is responsible for fulfilling warehouse orders using warehousing equipment such as powered industrial trucks (PIT) like forklifts, order pickers, or pallet drivers. They may also support their team on the warehouse floor, working together to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently. Equipment Operators are enthusiastic team players with excellent organizational and communication skills, maintaining a positive attitude.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday (7:00 am - 5:30 pm)

Role Responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety and compliance standards while operating warehousing equipment.
• Work respectfully in a team environment and independently as needed.
• Follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Operate department-specific technology such as RF scanners, desktop computers, and touchscreens to track product locations.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by operational leadership.

Role Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions and meet standards.
• Experience in warehousing or manufacturing is a plus.
• Forklift or heavy machinery experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate department-specific technology.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and be able to work overtime as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
• Reach, pull, push, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, requiring coordinated movements.
