City of New York's Department of Transportation seeks a Transportation Specialist to support the Street Improvement Projects program. The role focuses on aligning project schedules with resurfacing, signal construction, and state of good repair work, ensuring efficient delivery across multiple units and external partners.

You will coordinate with TPM and OLS teams, use SIP Portal, GIS, and data tracking tools, and communicate priorities clearly.

Formación

• Master's degree in transportation engineering, mathematics, urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, urban studies, or related fields.
• Baccalaureate degree in engineering with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Baccalaureate degree with 2 years of relevant experience as described.
• Associate degree or 60 credits with 4 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate SIPs with resurfacing, traffic signal work, and state of good repair projects.
• Prioritize and align schedules across divisions and external partners.
• Manage data through SIP Portal, GIS, and project tracking tools.
• Communicate priorities clearly with stakeholders.
