Qualifications

• K-12 urban education interest and commitment to student growth.
• Academic expertise in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree required; NY certification eligibility; enroll in teacher preparation and maintain GPA 2.75+ while employed.

Responsibilities

• Teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Sciences with AP readiness.
• Develop students' questioning, data analysis, and lab skills.
• Facilitate student-led discourse and evidence-based argumentation.
• Collaborate with Science department to set academic goals and engagement strategies.
• Engage families and build positive student relationships.
• Participate in weekly meetings to enhance school culture and learning outcomes.
