Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Urban Planning, Community Planning or related field.
• Valid Driver's License issued by the state of residency.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff with meetings, long-range planning, development review tasks, data collection, and preparing reports, maps and graphics to support planning and policy development.
• Participates in planning teams, identifies planning needs, prepares proposals and evaluates new tools, innovations and technology for application in planning projects.
• Assists planning staff to develop and utilize applications to improve public involvement, promote collaboration, and build consensus.
• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
