The Home Stylist is responsible for styling Home e-commerce product, as well as styling marketing assets as needed.

The Home Stylist reports to the Senior Stylist and works closely with the Photographers, Digital Technicians, Production Assistants, Photo Studio Manager, Post Production, and Buying Teams to help ensure all home merchandise is styled and photographed according to the studio guidelines. The Home Stylist must maintain an in-depth knowledge of UO Home’s growing brand identity and current trends within the Home market.

Role Responsibilities

1. Style Ecommerce product on set in studio 4-5 days per week (Fridays usually consist of product prep, weekly studio meetings, and prop shopping)
2. Maintain ecommerce styling standards, focusing on product’s functionality, features, benefits, and uniqueness
3. Consistently style inspirational images that support the UO brand
4. Attend sample handoff meetings, take notes, and check all items against the provided spreadsheet
5. Assist Senior Stylist and Studio Manager in planning setlists, scheduling, and coordinating with buying teams about product issues prior to shooting
6. Ensure all sample products are prepped for the following week
7. Maintain and organize product, prop shelves, and studio cleanliness
8. Follow deadlines and schedules to execute ecomm imagery and marketing messages timely
9. Weekly Prop Shopping

Role Qualifications

1. 3+ years of flats, home styling, and soft styling experience preferred
2. Understanding of the Home marketplace for ecommerce
3. Professional representation of the Photo Studio team
4. Detail-oriented, creative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume studio environment
5. Excellent planning and organizational skills
6. Team-oriented and communicative
7. Deep understanding of the UO brand, customer, and Home trends
8. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
9. Responsive to technical and creative feedback
10. Ability to move furniture, wall units, and set pieces
11. High visual integrity and ability to translate editorial concepts on set
12. Availability to travel
