Job summary

Lyft is seeking a Data Analyst Intern for New York City to support bikesharing analytics and partner with Operations, Finance, and Data Science to turn data into actionable insights.

We are looking for a candidate currently pursuing a quantitative degree with strong SQL skills and the ability to translate business problems into clear requirements. This hybrid in-office role requires 3 days per week in NYC, during Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., OR, CS, Stats, Math, Econ, Data Eng) with graduation between 2027–2028.
• Strong SQL proficiency and ability to analyze large data sets to derive actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update key business logic with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Product, Finance).
• Develop frameworks and scalable reporting processes to drive decisions and prioritization.
• Define metrics and build dashboards to monitor performance over time.
