Lyft is seeking a passionate Data Analyst Intern to shape urban mobility using data. You will collaborate with Operations, Data Science, Finance, and Product teams to drive analytics that influence fleet management, pricing, rider accessibility, and bikeshare investments.

The role is based in New York City with a hybrid in-office schedule. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with graduation between December 2027 and June 2028, proficient in SQL, and capable of

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mathematical sciences, economics, data engineering, or related field; graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Proficient in SQL and quantitative analysis; able to dive into large datasets and draw actionable conclusions.
• Strong communication and ability to translate business problems into clear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to manage and update key business logic.
• Develop frameworks and scalable processes to streamline reporting and drive decision-making.
• Define metrics to measure success of initiatives and build dashboards to monitor performance.
• Deliver data quickly, reliably, and accurately to city partners.
• Monitor KPI performance and present findings to senior leadership.
