Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid NYS Teaching Certificate preferred.
• At least one year of teaching experience in an urban environment preferred.
• Spanish proficiency preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a collaborative team teaching or individual classroom setting.

• Use assessment data to inform instruction and improve student learning.
• Utilize online student systems to track student progress.
• Contribute to program design and implementation at grade level.

• Work collaboratively with other staff and teachers daily.
• Enforce and uphold school policies and culture.
• Communicate effectively and maintain consistent relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned by Administration.
