The role requires a bachelor’s degree with licensure eligibility, ideally a Tennessee license, and comfort with data-driven improvement and bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education required; master’s degree preferred.
• Tennessee license or eligibility required; content area certification preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in urban education with demonstrated gains preferred.
• Bi-Lingual abilities desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards-aligned curriculum including maps, unit plans, and lesson plans.
• Implement assessments and track student achievement to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with academic team and participate in PLCs and professional development.
• Maintain school-wide systems, communicate with students and families, and support diverse learners.
• Engage in field trips and extracurricular activities as required.
