Job summary

TSNE MissionWorks is seeking a Farm Site Assistant to join Gardening the Community in Springfield, MA. This temporary position involves managing farm operations and assisting in the farm store. Responsibilities include seeding, harvesting, and maintaining cleanliness in the store.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and ideally some work experience on a farm. The compensation ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, with benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one season work experience on a farm, will train the right candidate.
• Ability to work mornings, nights, and weekends.
• Successful background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of farm sites and store during assigned shifts.
• Perform greenhouse seeding, transplanting, and maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness of farm store and cold storage.

Skills

Ability to work Saturdays

Retail experience
