Job summary

Clemson University is seeking a part-time Schools/Training Coordinator II to coordinate educational materials and registrations for the Urban Entomology Program, working with the South Carolina Education Committee to support regional and statewide programs.

The role also functions as the main liaison with the pest management industry in South Carolina, planning and delivering workshops and virtual conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop training evaluations, testing materials, and promotional materials for the Urban Entomology program.
• Answer program questions via phone, email, texts, or social media.
• Acquire and keep attendance records and submit pesticide applicator recertification records for SC and surrounding states as needed.
• Plan and coordinate the annual Fall Forum virtual conference and other Urban Entomology Program training courses as needed each year.
• Plan and coordinate annual wood-damaging pest workshops including the Wood Infestation Report trainings, Apprentice Termite Technician trainings, Master Termite Technician trainings and the Termite Control Basics trainings.
