Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college; two years' experience in education or human services.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in operating a PC, applicable software, and learning new programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate educational support services for Upward Bound participants, ensuring information on academic progress.
• Provide advice and counsel on program requirements, standings, and financial aid.
• Assist with in-service activities and assessments for high-need students, e.g., tutoring and lab time.
• Coordinate personal growth opportunities for students and develop IEPs.
• Assist Upward Bound management in evaluating activities and grant proposals.
