Uptown Cheapskate Pembroke in Virginia Beach, operated by Summit Recommerce Group (SRG), seeks a full-time Assistant Manager. You will lead a team, ensure great customer service, and drive store performance while promoting a positive, organized shopping experience.

Leadership potential, willingness to learn, and a passion for sustainable fashion are valued. Training and advancement within a network of nearly 30 locations are available.

Formación

• Previous retail leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem solving.

We’re looking for a full-time Assistant Manager to join our team. Leadership experience is appreciated, but not required. We are looking for people with the ability to lead, the willingness to learn, and the commitment to improve our store performance. Our store is part of a network of Uptown locations, and we love to promote and grow from within.

We’re looking for a full time Assistant Manager to join the team at our Uptown Cheapskate Pembroke location. Store Location: 363 Independence Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA Virgina Beach VA23462.

Responsibilities:

• Be helpful and nice to our customers - our store vibe is everything
• Presort incoming clothes, shoes, and accessories brought in from vendors (people from the community who want to sell to us)
• Use our computer system to buy in and price incoming items
• Organize racks, tag and hang up clothing
• Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to us
• Help make posts on our social media pages
• Merchandise! Organize clothing, handbags, and shoes, make the store look pretty!
• Opening and closing tasks (closing down systems, nightly reports, opening/closing tills)
• Inventory management - transporting back stock bins to and from storage unit using a company box truck
• Assist Store Manager in leading the team
