Job summary

Summit Recommerce Group (SRG) operates Uptown Cheapskate in Durham and is looking for dependable team members to join as Sales Associates. The roles span part-time and full-time schedules, with weekend shifts and a minimum commitment of two shifts per week.

Employees enjoy a supportive admin team, cross-training across store operations, and real opportunities to advance within SRG’s network of nearly 30 locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a retail environment is preferred.
• Ability to assist customers and handle transactions.
• Aesthetic sense for merchandising and store presentation.

We’re looking for part time and full time Sales Associates to join the team at our Uptown Cheapskate Durham location.

Must be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week, including some weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Be helpful and nice to our customers - our store vibe is everything
• Organize racks, tag and hang up clothing
• Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to us
• Help make posts on our social media pages
• Merchandise! Organize toy sections, shoe sections, make the store look pretty
