Job summary

Join Kid to Kid at our Uptown Cheapskate location in Durham, NC, as a Buyer. We are looking for part-time and full-time team members who are friendly and customer-focused. Your duties will include processing items from vendors, organizing the store, and assisting customers with purchases.

Located at 4215 University Dr. Suite 4, our store promotes sustainable fashion and offers flexible scheduling to fit your life. With supportive leadership and real advancement opportunities, you'll thrive in a positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Be helpful and nice to our customers – our store vibe is everything.
• Presort incoming clothes, shoes, and accessories brought in from vendors.
• Use our computer system to buy in and price incoming items.
• Organize racks, tag and hang up clothing.
• Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to us.
• Help make posts on our social media pages.
• Merchandise – organize clothing, handbags, and shoes, make the store look pretty!

When you join an Uptown Cheapskate location operated by Summit Recommerce Group (SRG), you'll be part of something bigger. SRG is the largest multi‑unit group in the Kid to Kid and Uptown Cheapskate systems, operating nearly 30 locations across six states. We're led by the original founder of Uptown Cheapskate herself.
