Kiwa PPI is seeking experienced Upstream Quality Control Specialists to support third-party inspection activities in the Midland area. The role focuses on inspecting upstream oil and gas equipment including OCTG, wellheads, drill pipe, mud motors, and downhole equipment, with field and ad hoc assignments.

The ideal candidate has Level II NDT certification or equivalent training, 5+ years in oil and gas and 3–5 years in third-party inspection, and strong report writing and communication skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years oil and gas industry experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of third-party inspection experience.
• Level II NDT certification or ability to meet NDT Qualification Written Practice requirements.

Responsabilités

• Witness inspections and testing per ITPs and standards.
• Perform surveillance of manufacturing, testing, and inspection activities.
• Verify calibration and certification of inspection equipment.
• Maintain and generate professional inspection reports.
• Communicate status with suppliers and customers.
• Identify and document nonconforming conditions.
