Job summary

Crane Nuclear seeks a Product Line Leader Downhole & Radiation Monitoring to craft strategy and drive growth across verticals. You will lead annual planning, shape roadmaps, and build executive-level customer partnerships while collaborating with engineering, operations, and sales to deliver full-spectrum solutions.

Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally; you will navigate a highly regulated environment and advance profitable, technically advanced offerings in nuclear and process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 8 years in cross-functional leadership roles.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in sales, operations, engineering, or technical support; oil and gas experience preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with responsibility for financial success of a business or project.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills resulting in business growth.
  • Ability to plan, document, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills with Systems Engineering and Agile Project Management methodology.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other regulatory standards.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive long-term planning and strategy for Downhole and Radiation Monitoring verticals.
  • Lead product line annual planning driving accountability across functional and business areas.
  • Leading opportunity strategy and capture planning, including win themes, competitive positioning, pricing strategy, and risk mitigation; supporting proposal development and leading commercial negotiations.
  • Cultivating executive-level and working-level customer relationships across all levels of the customer organization; developing strategic partnerships to enable full-scope project solutions.
  • Optimize and integrate processes meeting both internal and external needs.
  • Identify, develop and present strategies and business cases, technical roadmaps, risks and associated mitigation plans to senior leaders.
  • Work with project management, operations, and engineering teams to ensure expectations are being met.
  • Working with the commercial team and key technology experts, develop long-term customer relationships both domestic and international.
  • Collaborate with sales, commercial, and marketing teams to gather market research, the voice of the customer, and competitor intelligence to grow the sub-product line.
  • Comply with all safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.
  • Proactively identify appropriate segmenting, targeting, and positioning of product/service in the competitive landscape.
  • Work with Supply Chain to identify and create supply strategies and cost targets.
  • Lead the NPI planning phase and deliver commercial success in coordination with stakeholders; lead proposal development from basis of estimates through pricing and reviews.
  • Participate in Stage Gate product and technology development teams, including documentation for gate meetings.
  • Represent the organization in outside discussions, customers, and technical forums.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Cultivating executive-level and working-level customer relationships across all levels of the customer organization; developing strategic partnerships to enable full-scope project solutions .Acting as the voice of the customer, proactively identifying emerging needs, influencing product roadmaps, and collaborating with customers on specifications.
  • Optimize and integrate processes meeting both internal and external needs.
  • Identify, develop and present strategies and business cases, technical roadmaps, risks and associated risk mitigation plans to senior leaders across the business with plans being developed collaboratively across the product line.
  • Work with our project management, operations, and engineering teams to ensure expectations are being met.
  • Working with the commercial team and key technology experts, develop long‑term customer relationships both domestic and international.
  • Collaborate with sales & commercial, and marketing teams to gather market research, the voice of the customer, and competitor intelligence to grow the sub-product line.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 8 years in cross-functional leadership roles.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in sales, operations, engineering, or technical support. Experience in oil and gas industry preferred.
  • Financial acumen with previous responsibility for financial success of a business or project.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills resulting in business growth.,
  • Ability to plan, document, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills with familiarity with Systems Engineering processes and Agile Project Management methodology.
