Job summary

Technical Source is seeking an Upstream Process Engineer for a long-term contract position in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. The qualified candidate will support the start-up and commissioning of upstream process equipment.

The role involves troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, providing engineering support, and leading process improvements. A Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience are required. On-site work is mandatory, and compensation will be based on experience and fit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in process engineering.
• Experience working in a Greenfield environment.
• Extensive knowledge of stainless steel upstream equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct P&ID walkdowns and redlining.
• Provide engineering support to C&Q of upstream equipment.
• Troubleshoot upstream manufacturing equipment.
• Interface with vendors and relevant teams.
• Lead process improvement efforts.
