Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation is seeking a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician I, Upstream (DPI) for our 100% on-site Durham, NC facility. You will set up, operate, and clean critical pharmaceutical equipment, weigh materials, and ensure full compliance with SOPs and GMPs while supporting 24/7 production schedules.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strict documentation, and adherence to safety policies, with training provided for cGMP and process standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 0+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing or spray drying in regulated environment.
• Able to navigate advanced HMI control systems on automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and to cover 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean, and maintain manufacturing equipment under supervision.
• Weigh raw materials per batch records to ensure proper formulation.
• Ensure operations comply with SOPs and GMPs.
• Stock components, materials, and supplies prior to production.
• Complete batch documentation and cleaning records per cGMP/SOPs.
• Attend required process, cGMP, and safety trainings.
• Assist troubleshooting and escalate production issues as needed.
• Contribute to non-conformance resolution during production.
• Follow OSHA and company safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
