Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim Fremont is seeking an MFG Associate or Senior Associate for upstream operations on-site with a swing shift (Wed 3pm-11:30pm, Thu-Sat 3pm-1:30am). You will execute unit operations, monitor bioreactors, and perform CIP/SIP while maintaining cGMP documentation and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma with GMP experience, or an associates/bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school degree plus minimum one year GMP experience.
• Associate/Bachelor’s degree or biotechnology vocational training preferred.
• One or more years of experience in cGMP regulated industry.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex unit operations including batching and inoculation.
• Operate bioreactors and monitor processes.
• Perform CIP/SIP and media preparation.
• Document work according to cGMP and cGDP standards.
• Maintain production areas according to 5S and safety standards.
