Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim seeks a Master/Sr Manufacturing Associate, Upstream, onsite in Fremont, CA, for night shift. You will execute and coordinate upstream operations in a multi-product facility, with emphasis on cGMP, quality, and teamwork. The role supports 24/7 operations and requires strong attention to detail.

Experience with DeltaV and MES is valued. Base salary ranges from $75,000 to $122,000; relocation and discretionary bonus may be available based on policy.

Qualifications

• High school degree with GMP experience.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology preferred.
• 4+ years in GMP/cGMP regulated environment.
• Able to follow SOPs and document work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex upstream unit operations including batching, inoculation, bioreactor operation, and harvest processes.
• Perform CIP/SIP of bioreactors, tanks, and harvest equipment; media preparation and transfer.
• Document work according to cGMP and site SOPs; maintain analytical equipment and 5S.
• Maintain safe production areas and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
