Cooper’s Hawk Winery in Springfield, IL is hiring Servers who are more than order takers; they are curators of unforgettable experiences, guiding guests through food, wine, and the Wine Club with confidence and care. Compensation is $9.00 per hour plus tips, with benefits including health coverage, 401k match, paid time off, and ongoing wine education.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum six months of server experience.
• Experience in full service or upscale casual dining preferred.
• Comfort speaking about food, wine, and our Wine Club program.
• A passion for hospitality and working as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work on your feet up to 10 hours.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Show up on time in proper uniform and know the menu, wine list, and steps of service.
• Use the POS system and handle payments with accuracy.
• Understand the benefits of the Wine Club and its offerings.
• Follow departmental checklists and SOPs to keep areas prepared for opening, mid-shift, or closing.
• Take initiative to solve problems and support the guest experience.
• Communicate with Kitchen, Hosts, Runners, Bartenders, and Managers to keep service flowing.
• Greet guests warmly, use their names, and tailor recommendations to enhance their visit.
