Job summary

Embassy Suites Louisville Downtown Hotels is hiring a Room Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms and corridors in a full-time, in-person role. You will clean guest rooms, replace linens, restock amenities, and ensure safety and cleanliness to meet hotel standards.

The ideal candidate pays close attention to detail, is reliable, and friendly with guests. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of custodial/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, dusting, polishing, removing trash, washing, and cleaning all areas of the guest rooms and hallways.
• Replacing linens on beds and making bed to hotel standards
• Replenishing guest room supplies
• Turn over any lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, no matter how busy or time of day
• Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Service assigned guest rooms
• Inspect conditions of the hotel for tears, rips, stains, and report damages
