Job summary

The JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver top‑tier service in a lively hotel dining environment. You will take and deliver orders, process payments, and ensure guests have a smooth, enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, knowing menus, upselling beverages and meals, keeping tables tidy, operating the POS, and supporting team to ensure guest satisfaction from start to finish.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Flexible work hours and availability for long shifts are required.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift and move around the dining area.
• Strong verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests.
• Receive and deliver guests' orders and handle payments.
• Know menus and daily specials; upsell food and beverages.
• Maintain clean, stocked tables and service areas; manage side work.
• Collaborate with team to ensure guest satisfaction throughout the shift.
