Job summary

Hotel Bennett is seeking an attentive server to provide luxurious service in the bar area. You will greet guests, take and serve orders, and maintain optimal station cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Must have 6 months of server experience, ASL certification preferred, and ability to upsell while following POS procedures. Role requires 21+ age, ServSafe Alcohol knowledge, and SC server license within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food and beverage knowledge strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival in a friendly, positive manner.
• Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests, using suggestive selling techniques.
• Respond quickly to the guest's requests, keeping a sense of urgency.
• Clear tables during service.
• Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor/ Manager.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the menu and wine list, guiding guests and making recommendations.
