Job summary

Marlow’s Tavern is seeking an experienced upscale Host/Hostess to join our team. You will be the primary contact for guests, guiding them through a memorable dining experience and upholding our Hospitality First philosophy.

As a Host/Hostess, you’ll greet guests, present menus, and coordinate with managers to ensure smooth seating and service. This role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and delivering world-class hospitality daily.

Qualifications

• Entry level acceptable with 1 year high-volume host/hostess experience preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Must be the minimum age to serve alcohol and able to obtain a county liquor license
• Authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Managers and Chef de Cuisine for updates on features and station assignments
• Prepare and set assigned sections for guests before the shift
• Confirm reservations for the following day
• Place table settings and silverware rolls at each place setting
• Inspect exterior for cleaning needs and organize restroom schedules
• Audit and maintain dining room cleanliness and restrooms
• Assist teammates and guests to ensure smooth service
• Greet guests, present menus, and answer questions about food/beverages
• Run food from expo to tables and observe guest needs for upselling
• Close out duties with managers and review work schedule
