Qualifications

• Experience in a high volume, upscale restaurant preferred but not required.
• Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
• Full time flexible hours are required (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; lift 30 lbs.
• Proficient or ability to learn computer skills including POS systems, OpenTable, Word and Excel.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of special catch and soups.
• Treats all guests to ensure their complete satisfaction and exceed expectations.
• Takes names on a waiting list.
• Runs the floor plan board.
• Observes tables and tracks clean, dirty and occupied tables.
• Takes guest information and quotes wait times when tables are not immediately available.
• Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at the host area.
• Answers phone and questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and depart to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Performs other duties as directed.
