Job summary

British American Household Staffing is assisting a busy family on the Upper East Side to find a fantastic housekeeper to join their team. The role can be 2 days per week from 9 am to 5 pm, with hours flexible for the right person, in a staffed home with other staff and children.

During the summer, the family spends time in the Hamptons, where you will have projects in the UES home. If a full-time arrangement is desired, childcare support and Hamptons help would be required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in large homes.
• Able to commit to 2 days per week long-term.
• Flexible and hardworking.
• Comfortable working in a family household alongside other staff and children.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping and household upkeep.
• Daily cleaning and organization of all living spaces.
• Laundering and linen care for adults—children's laundry and sheers handled by nanny team.
• Occasional deeper cleaning projects as needed.
• Maintaining household organization and cleanliness across multiple floors.
• Summer projects will be discussed.
