Job summary

Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park, IL is seeking a Full-Time Cook to season, prepare, and assist with food production while upholding sanitation and quality standards. You’ll help prep stations, follow recipes, and support the team during events and busy periods.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in cooking, food preparation, and plating.
Current Food Handlers or Sanitation certification is required.
Working efficiently under high-volume conditions, especially during special events and holidays.
Familiarity with menus and the ability to prepare special dietary restrictions is required.
Standing and walking for periods of time, occasionally carrying trays weighing up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Season, prepare, and assist with food production while adhering to all sanitation and hygiene protocols.
Organize and properly store unused products, maintain cleanliness across all prep and storage areas, and report maintenance needs.
Daily responsibilities include prepping workstations, mastering menu items and dietary accommodations, communicating stock needs, and assisting across different kitchen areas as needed.
