Responsibilities

• Greets guests, takes food and beverage orders, and employs suggestive‑up‑selling techniques.
• Serves alcoholic, non‑alcoholic beverages and meals to guests courteously and efficiently according to restaurant specifications.
• Inputs orders accurately.
• Collects and processes payments.
• Assists with maintenance of the restaurant area and supplies.
• Maintains knowledge of the menu and answers questions regarding ingredients and allergens.
• Performs job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritizes and organizes tasks.
• Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with all restaurant policies and service standards.
• Anticipates guests’ needs, responds promptly and acknowledges all guests, regardless of busyness or time of day.
• Is familiar with all Hotel services, features, and local attractions to respond to inquiries accurately.
• Completes all side work before the doors open.
• Assists with escorting guests to tables and seating them when necessary.
• Notifies a manager whenever a guest is unhappy or upset.
• Knows table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, menu, price range, and dress code.
• Inspects menus and wine lists for cleanliness; ensures appropriate quantities are available and updates as needed.
• Touches tables and builds repeat clientele.
• Performs other duties and tasks deemed necessary by management.
