Job summary

W.B. Mason Company Inc. in New York is seeking a full-time UPS Shipping Processor to help prepare and ship customer orders, review order details, and label shipments.

This role involves lifting up to 75 lbs, working Monday through Friday with overtime and weekends off, and using Microsoft Office including Excel. You will contribute to accurate, timely deliveries and a strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Regularly handle inventory and lift up to 50 pounds as part of workflow.

MAKE AN IMPACT EVERY DAY

As a UPS Shipping Processor, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and shipped. You will review order information to determine which products will need to be picked and distributed, prepare shipping labels, coordinate UPS pickups and deliveries, and package orders according to customer specifications. Throughout your day, you will identify and label materials, weigh and count outgoing items, and prepare completed parcels for shipment. You will regularly handle inventory, lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds, and contribute to an efficient workflow that helps customers receive the products they depend on.

This role may involve the operation of certain pieces of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The company supplies and mandates training and certification on each individual piece of equipment prior to permissible use. Use of any equipment by an employee on which they are not trained and certified may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
